I began my medical
I began my medical journey as a young parent of 3 living in rural Eastern Colorado, where the nearest medical facility was over an hour away. My husband and I had the opportunity to become certified as EMT’s and enjoyed serving our community for 15 years. This service prompted my interest in medicine, and in 2001 I obtained my LPN license and worked for 11 years at our local hospital. Furthering my education, I graduated with my RN in 2012, and continued to serve as a nurse in both the emergency room and medical/surgical capacities. In addition, I have enjoyed working in numerous settings as an RN, to include In-Clinic Healthcare, Home Health, Skilled-Care Nursing, Surgical First Assist Nursing, as well as General and Post Op Orthopedic care.
This diverse background has allowed me to experience many different sides and perspectives of healthcare. I am excited to offer my services in a new setting, as an IV Nutritional Therapy nurse, allowing me to support patients in achieving overall mental and physical wellbeing. In addition to joining this exciting branch of medical care, it affords me the opportunity to meet new people, spend time with my family, and continue with one of my true passion, travel.
